Turkey Cooking Instruction Pre heat oven to 325 degrees. Clean, wash and season turkey. Place a foil tent over turkey, remove the foil final 50 - 60 minutes to brown. Check tender timer occasionally near end of roasting period. Stuffed turkeys require additional 30-60 minutes additional roasting time. When using meat thermometer cook to 160-180 degrees. Oven temperatures vary so times are approximate. Remove tender timer and unclamp legs. Let stand for 20 minutes before carving. 8-12 Ibs. 2 1/2 - 3 hrs. 12-14 Ibs. 3 - 3 1/2 hrs. 14-18 Ibs. 3 1/2 - 4 1/4 hrs. 18-20 Ibs 4 1/2 - 5 hrs. 20-24 Ibs. 5-6 hrs. 24-28 Ibs. 6-7 hrs. 28-32 Ibs. 7-8 hrs.
